The COMPASS XR is a handheld installation tool designed for integration of Nextivity systems, including the QUATRA, QUATRA RED, SOLO RED, and more. The ugged, rubberized exoskeleton, the COMPASS XR can be taken into all kinds of environments to take signal readings.
The Nextivity COMPASS XR allows integrators to easily conduct grid tests and site surveys prior to and after installation. All cellular frequencies between the 617-5000 MHz frequencies are detectable, including 5G-NR, 4G, LTE, CBRS, FirstNet, and LMR. The COMPASS XR is designed as a complete, all-in-one signal meter.
The COMPASS XR features a single-board Linux Computer and is powered by two rechargeable 3500 mAh, 3.7v protected 18650 cells (included). The AC power adapters include multiple plug types (A, C, G & I) for global support. The Cel-Fi COMPASS XR has a reading accuracy of plus or minus 2 dB. The COMPASS XR itself weighs 1.61 lbs and measures 4.7" x 1.6" x 8".
The Nextivity COMPASS XR is controlled by the Cel-Fi WAVE PRO app via Bluetooth LE. COMPASS XR can also connect via Ethernet to the Nextivity QUATRA Network Unit or SOLO RED. The app is free to download from the iOS App Store and Android Play Store.
The charging port on the Compass XR uses a USB-C connection making it compatible with existing cables and chargers.
