Centreville Middle School Struggled With Poor Cellular in Queen Anne’s County Seat
Centreville Middle School is located in the county seat of Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. It serves the nearby municipality of Centreville and the rest of the surrounding county.
A great education is the goal of every public school system. Taking advantage of modern technology is something the Queen Anne’s County public school system prides itself on. Cellular signal is used primarily to enhance safety and security, allow for effective communication, allow more parental involvement, and most of all for digital learning.
THE PROBLEM
Unfortunately, Centreville middle school had spotty to nonexistent cellular signal inside its 90,000 sq ft school building. This posed numerous problems for staff and student alike. School administrators knew they had to do something.
They reached out to the Bolton Install Pro team for help.
THE SOLUTION
After a free consultation, a design proposal was presented to the Queen’s Anne County school board for a QUATRA 4000 system to be installed in its building. Materials were requisitioned, and the Bolton Install Pro team was dispatched to Queen Anne’s County. The installation was completed in conjunction with another install at Centreville’s high school. The middle school portion was completed in two days, with no disruption to normal school activities.
THE RESULTS
The QUATRA 4000 system was able to blanket the entire building with crisp clear cellular service. Every classroom and hallway was covered, as well as the auditorium. Service was improved for all major cellular carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
