1. Install the Outside Antenna
Place antenna on top of vehicle, toward the back
Run cable across vehicle roof and inside.
Place cable in door seal. -
2. Install the Inside Antenna
Find a location for the inside antenna. We recommend placing it:
Within 2-3 feet of typical cell phone location,
At least 8 inches (20cm) from cellular devices,
At least 4 inches (10cm) from metal. -
3. Place Booster and Connect Cables
Place booster in a well-ventilated location. We suggest beneath a seat or within the front console.
Connect the cable from the outside antenna to the connection marked OUTSIDE and the cable from the inside to the connection marked INSIDE. -
4. Connect Power
Connect the DC power cord to your vehicle’s cigarette lighter and attach it to the booster. Power on.

- Attach the hard-mounted OTR antenna where you please. It can replace a CB radio antenna, or you can place it somewhere else.
- Run the cable inside the cabin, either through a window or in the same area you might run a TV antenna through.
- Place the amplifier under the driver’s seat.
- Place the interior antenna where needed, with as much separation as possible from the hard mounted antenna. Plug power supply into the power source.
