Frequently Asked Questions
One includes a Cel-Fi GO Red signal booster and cellular router, while the other just includes the signal booster.
The PSU Commander works with AT&T FirstNet bands 12 and 14 only.
AT&T FirstNet only.
Once on, cellular devices using black AT&T FirstNet SIM cards automatically pick up the amplified signal from the Cel-Fi GO Red. To connect to the router, refer to the instructions included.
Yes, even if weak. Both the amplifier and router use cellular signals to provide reliable connectivity. The booster picks up available signal, amplifies it, and delivers stronger cell reception for all nearby cellular enabled AT&T FirstNet devices to use. That includes the router.
The only monthly fee associated with the PSU is the data plan needed to keep the Bolton Blazer online.
If closed, the cellular and WiFi signals can’t propagate efficiently. In addition, there won’t be enough separation between the panel and whip antennas. This will cause significant oscillation.
Yes. You can use the Cel-Fi WAVE app to simplify the set-up process and monitor the Cel-Fi Go Red’s performance.
The PSU Commander comes standard with a Yagi antenna. Under best conditions, it can reach cell towers located up to 5 miles away. For extremely weak signal environments, you can upgrade the donor antenna to an LPDA. They are more powerful and can reach cell towers located up to 7 miles away under best conditions. Though, the LPDA will not fit in the case.
Because of signal propagation, the PSU Commander will perform best in enclosed areas. However, it can also be used outdoors.
