The Uniden Link will work in any vehicle or indoor location. It is designed for use while moving or in the cabin of a vehicle, such as a car, SUV, truck, van, semi, boat, yacht, or schooner.
It is not designed for outdoor use.
The Uniden Link amplifies the signal reaching your phone at the source, so your phone doesn’t need to “connect” to anything. It isn’t a WiFi router – if your phone can detect cellular signal, then it will pick up the amplified signal the booster emits. As long as it is in the cradle, it should be receiving amplified cell service.
